05 Feb 09 Yahoo Answers Traffic and Monetizations

Well, here it is another technique that I am very happy to share. I am big Yahoo! Answers fan. Before, I didn’t really put my website link in Yahoo! answers, but after a while, I tried to put once or twice in a while. And yes, it gives me good traffic, at least, 10-15 unique hits from one answer.

Of course, your answer should be unique, informative and helpful. That’s the most important thing, once they love your answer, they will definitely try to click your website which should be the source of the answer. When I answered about sports, I never put this website as a reference, it will be spamming to the audience and also to Yahoo! and i saw many people got banned for that.

SEO point of view, you will not gain anything as Yahoo! answers is no-follow link, but you get the traffic and mostly targeted traffic, that means, your true audience will read more about your site.

Nowadays, many people abuse and use yahoo answers as a tool and the bans are more frequent, so make sure you do the reference in proper way and relevant niche. Here is my Yahoo Answers account you can view. :) Remember, do not put too many of your links in your answers especially it’s not relevant to your website and the particular answer. And make sure you get good percentage of BEST Answer. So that people believe and trust in what you explain more. That will also help your traffic as well.

So, here is a good e-book how to get traffic, affiliate sales, or direct sales that depend on your business on Yahoo! Answers. But I definitely tried and got noticeable amount of traffic.

Thanks for reading :)

well, give it a try, it’s basically 10 to 100 UV per posts depending on your content of ur answers and as well as whether u receive best answer.. it’s actually a raw market and u still can bring alot of traffic, however, the link is no-follow, please let me remind u.

but it generates good traffic while you are helping people, for me, I am just happy to do that, even I am just level 3 in yahoo answers, I get pretty massive traffic from there. all u need is to be true and helpful, then u will get ur fair share of traffic.

it drives me alot of traffic indeed. however, over spamming of your site will tag you spammer and sometimes get banned, so like, please comment and answer according to the niche and also put other URLs in some irrelevant answers. for me, I am 20% best answer and I do not put my URL at every single answer, sometimes I also put yahoo.com or google.com websites are references, that’s where you can’t get banned LOL. and psychologically, you get exempted for putting yahoo.com along with ur site, many people already knew yahoo.com, so, others will check out ur site because they know yahoo.com. hope that helps

Honestly, it depends, if you don’t give very useful answers or if your answer is not chosen as best answers, It might be pretty hard. I have 20% best answer and I always try to answer comprehensive solution to the one who asked.

Your niche would be productions of films, actually you can be in multimedia section, film section and also youtube section to master on. Many things you will be able to answer a lot.
Post and pre-productions are very useful answers to many amateurs out there and you should regularly write blog regarding that.. maybe it will definitely help.

    Hope that helps for ya.

Give it a try, It’s just taking a little time, for me, I got plenty of traffic from there, one answer would drive you probably minimum 20 unique visitors and if u reference in correct niche, you will even get target audience.

    hope that helps

Does anyone have a good submission service for the submission of articles to article directories at a reasonable price.
