well, the reason is

in google, they used backlinks as only qualified backlinks.. but granted, there are many unqualified backlinks indexed in google as well.

for yahoo, they generally call backlinks, yes, you probably have more than 2000, but they are actually pointing back to your site as a backlinks, I would personally call them “point links” that are pointing back, and generally do not give many value in Yahoo SERPs too.

For example, you get backlinks from me, that’s for sure, as a comment, your backlink is artificial link and will have little value, however, definitely more value than no-follow sites.. But at least, you will have one more backlinks in google from me as my quality of site is getting better, will as yours.

People forgot that unique and original content plays big role in PR but always thinking about short cuts and finally faced devaluations of their PR. If we all build correctly and properly, we will get better in link building and it is absolutely required for the long term as well.

Artificial backlinks are not very helpful, I am pretty sure because when you google link:yoursite
you will see google’s official backlinks, if you try to build based on your credited backlinks, you can get more natural links and it will help you get better pagerank.

This is a good article. I have learned the difference between natural and artificial links. I am doing some artificial backlinks.. too bad they are not so helpful after all. Francis’s last fantastic blog post..How to Double your Money? Rule of 72!

hmmm maybe that's the reason why i'm only have 65 backlinks from google and more than 2,000 from yahoo kyrious’s last fantastic blog post..GET PAID TO WRITE

well, when you aim to get obvious backlinks to your site, search engine bots will consider those are artificial link structure, so, they may not give those links as quality backlinks and may not credit you for PR.
