Maybe, your PR1 was mostly based on the directories, or maybe based on the text selling ads. Those could hurt. Try to read <a href="http://infomm.com/category/atoz-seo/" rel="nofollow">SEO </a>and <a href="http://infomm.com/category/webtraffic/" rel="nofollow">traffic </a>building categories, I experienced myself and first 3 months, I got no PR to 0PR, and next 3 months, i got 0PR to 1, the other site got PR0 to PR2.
