These days, I saw more blogs, LOL, and yes, more push method sales.. I think it’s pretty weird ideas of bloggers to push sales, because most of those methods basically backfired. I will not really write cute titles like 10 things you should do, 5 things you can’t do, blah blah..
I probably would write one fact and that should be useful to my readers, PERIOD. If you are a blogger, you can put ads, 125×125 graphics, they are acceptable, because people know they are ads and they will be clicked by each own consent. But trying to embed amazon links and hi-speed download links into your blog is not only damaging bloggers’ images, but also not making a good money. If you want to sell Amazon stuff, just simply explain and sell it, the turnover could not be as good because people rather buy directly from Amazon and it’s actually their tricky marketing to bloggers, in one intention, just to get more people to know your brand.
And those direct sales links are not SEO friendly. Especially if you are using wordpress permanent link structure on your site, in which case many bloggers are using, it will just look ugly as it is, and you will be giving your good PR back to those affiliate sites. For me, try to provide information and let the consumer decides what they want to do with it, because push marketing will never be succeeded in the long run. In fact, I just unsubscribed one blog because it is turning into push marketing of its affiliates. So, the bottom line is, I don’t know how much that site will be made and I won’t judge, but I am sure they lose one of their long term subscriber as of today.
Well, that’s for now. I write with real experience and I write only after I know. So, I am kind of not consistent with posts, but yeah, I try to blog every week as soon as I have some free time. Thanks for reading.
