So what’s plugone button from Google?

It is basically people added your web site page into better search results, sort of like voted by people for your particular page to show up better in the search results, so that not only Google algorithms for search results will count, but also the human touch a bit of here and there for your pages. Have you ever tried Google Adwords keyword tool? If you haven’t, It is definitely the time you should have. I have been using it for a while and It has actually favored me a lot of kindness. And yes, It is also a money making site that is real and FREE. In order to make money online, everyone knows traffic is the most important thing, that is why we do blogging, writing and composing something that’s useful or beautiful. With unique content and search engine friendly SEO methods, the traffic is smooth and flowing.

However, sometimes you do have heaps of traffic and do not make enough conversation on affiliates, PPC and impressions. Because It is evident that your traffic flow is not enough to make you more money. Google keyword tool is one of the big differences to those who make money on a daily basis and those who are not. For me, It is fantastic achievement and I am happy with the pay because I actually do 3 niches. Some niches are low paying niches, but the CTR rate is absolutely amazing. So, try and take advantage with Google Adwords Keyword Tool and make sure you focus on your quality of your content and properly optimize on-site SEO and off-site SEO. And experience yourself after a week or two you publish on the web, and see the differences with previous content.

05 May 10 Great plug-in: Broken Link Checker

Today, I decided to have my site be integrated with at least one plug-in because it has been a while I added some useful plugins. Needless to say, I haven’t seen much better plugins than I am currently using, so it’s been really a while.

It is pretty hard because most of the plug-ins do not really impress me, but this one has got something that I would say “WORTH IT”.

To install plug-ins in wordpress has never been easier and all you need is to enter the plugin name in the text field search box, so this one is called “Broken Link Checker“. As soon as you installed and activated this plug-in, you will be able to see on your Dashboard as follows;

Once you click what the plug-in has found, you can see the following display, which is fantastically easy to edit, remove link or edit URLs that were no longer valid.

For me, most of these are silly comments with their URLs, so it’s easy to take them out anyways. However, if you have several dead links, big search engines like Google, Yahoo and MSN will discount your website credibility because you have been hosting too many broken links.

Besides, this plug in will help you with your SEO because limiting useless outgoing links are just wasted on your site. Since I am actually using do-follow methods on my site, I have to be more careful with links incoming and outgoing.

29 Apr 10 Twitter is overloaded

Another overloading time for Twitter today, My time 29th  April, 2010 at 10:09:42 am.

I am pretty upset with twitter lately as I don’t want to use external APIs to connect. It is because there are too many APIs connecting and looks like the site has been overloaded frequently. With the massive amount of messages flying around the net, especially evening time for US will be pretty much a lot of traffic and load balancing machines at Twitter can probably do nothing about it.

At the other hand, it’s fantastic massive traffic flowing in and out of Twitter and I think twitter can actually give you pretty much of SEO advantage over time, because the indexing method with Twitter is not so bad even though first generated TWEET is not necessarily creating massive traffic. So yea, SEO/SEM wise, it’s a great approach, and it is well-used by many others now.

Anyway, another disappointing experience with Twitter this week, AGAIN and I hope they will improve their accessibility soon.

02 Apr 10 How to remove autorun.inf virus and Search Engines

This post is probably not suitable for my blog but I was hoping people will find this useful when they have a similar problem with me. I actually wanted to say that I am very pleased with Yahoo! Answers with this issue.

Needless to say, my computer was infected with autorun.inf which will auto run their affiliate file name called affi8l.exe. Fortunately, my anti-virus program could find out easily the exe file and remove it right away though I cannot remove autorun.inf and that file has been annoying for a few hours. So, I finally do web search and after 6-7 search engine results, I must admit it was pretty much disappointing as I could not find the correct solution. I was about to feel Google is no longer dependable on search results. And at the eighth link, I finally found the solution on Yahoo! Answers, and that answer was in fact easier to find in Yahoo! search engine. My point is, Yahoo! sometimes provides better search results and relevancy despite Google has been the number 1 search engines for ages.

So, I will directly quote from Yahoo! Answers referenced to here. Thanks to the original person who answered this perfectly.

You can boot up your PC in safe mode command prompt.

unhide the autorun.inf
c:\attrib -r -s -h autorun.inf

rename it the autorun.inf to txt
c:\ren autorun.inf to autorun.txt

create a FOLDER call autorun.inf to prevent re-infection
c:\mkdir autorun.inf

find out the virus file name
c:\type autorun.txt

It may show something like this

[AutoRun]
open=virusname.exe
shellexecute=virusname.exe
shell\Auto\command=virusname.exe

unhide the virus
c:\attrib -r -s -h virusname.exe

remove the virus
c:\del virusname.exe

del the autorun.txt
c:\del autorun.txt

Keep the autorun.inf folder to prevent future infection

Affi8l.exe has been identified as a computer virus. The file is generally bundled with another trojan virus, herss.exe, and additional files which include cvasds0.dll, cvasds1.dll, and cvasds2.dll.

As a conclusion, nowadays, search engine world is pretty much monopolized and we don’t seem to bother about it. And this is probably one of the very few times I gave credits to Yahoo! Search in past 9 years.
