The attraction of blog
Lately, I have seen thousands of blogs and they are basically writing pretty much all the same. I love to read blogs as much as I like to write about it, but I cannot produce like 1 entry a day because it is simply that I cannot write 1 entry a day. Why some blogs are pretty famous and some blogs are not is basically straightforward. If we all take the ideas of others, it will never stand out among the crowd.
For me, the attraction of blog is to write what you experienced, rather than writing out all the techniques and terms most of the time. Of course, it is not so bad to write techniques and ways but the ones that are attracted to audience will be new ideas and personal experiences. It depends on the niche what types of person experiences are ideal as well. For example, if you are writing a blog about sportswear, it is very critical that you voice the particular sport product in your own way; especially it is useful with reviews. Rather than saying what others have said in the past, though it is a good idea to reference it.
Well, hope you can attract more visitors than ever to your blogs after reading this entry. Good Luck.

About Domain names
The importance of domain name is critically important. Most of the great domain names are taken and I still see them doing little use at all. Some people just bought them for ages and finally they gave up using it because they did not really have a business plan or model to implement it. On the other hand, I saw some people bought unimaginable domain names and also failed with terrible domain names. So, I will discuss a little bit about domain names that comes to my mind.
As long as it takes domain names
Try to avoid it. Some people thought it is extremely important to have keywords in the domain names. It is true in branding, for example, Zytech or Microsoft, they are not really meaningful as a matter of words, but they are meaningful to the brand name. If you are building your brand, it is good to use long domain names, but of course, up to the limit where people can accept, not like cheap-best-reasonable-online-shopping-place.com is too much to remember. The ideal selection is to have not more than 12 letters without the TLD domain names (.com, .net, .tv, .org, .us).
Shorter domains
It is actually good to have shorter domain names, because when you use email promotion or even someone has to email you, you would want comfortable and easy to remember email address. Another tip is to use short form like infomm.com which could actually mean a long meaning, but also fairly easy to remember.
Dashed domains
I do not like dashed domains, be realistic, why do you use dash? The odds are, someone has already registered the name already without dashed, therefore, you need to have to dashed, consequently, that means you will possibly lose your visitors to that domain without dash as well. For example, onebest.com versus one-best.com, the name is fantastic, easy to remember, fits most of the businesses with quality and quantity, unfortunately, people may not type – (dashed) all the time and it might lead your potential visitors to another website.
Multiple domains
One domain costs basically less than $10, if you are going to do a reputable and good business, why not spend a little bit more for your domain related and use additional parked domain which is now very easy to do so. For example, if you have bestchef.com and someone can actually buy bestchefs.com for your possible traffic and potential income. So, never feel that is not required to spend, perhaps it will be your best $10 spent in the future. Also, if you have several domains that are not used, just parked to the domain that is in full functions, or, you can actually park and display ads with Google AdSense as well. The bottom line is, do not let your domain unused at all.
So, good luck with your domain names, I will write more about domain name and its related topics soon to give you more depth. It is best when you click and read my particular topic rather than just reading through because at the end of the each post, you may find related posts that are very useful and relevant to my main post. Thanks for reading.

Yesterday, Google updated PageRank again. I was expected to see end of June for new updates, however, it was only two months from last update and now it has updated again.
I am not really a big fan of Google PR, but It is always good to get my PR raised again by +1 in most of my sites and pages. It’s fantastic for me, because I know all my link building, SEO/SEM and hard work have paid off.
So, how about your site(s)? Any improvements?

Many MMO and SEO guys talk about PR every now and then, Recently, new PR from Google has been updated. Does it do any good for you or bad? For me, I never care about PR much because it’s just a measurement of Google. I understand higher PR, we can sell links and etc, but I care more about unique and repeated traffic which will eventually bring success to you in the long run.
The funny thing is Google has been kind to me. I use do-follow enabled plugin which is actually a good one for Wordpress bloggers, many actually said that once you have do-follow, you actually got hurt in PR, however, I believe that comment URLs are actually artificial link building and so that it doesn’t really matter about back links, maybe you generate some more traffic.

pagerank
I allowed do-follow commenting on 25th Feb 2009 with this entry named “Advantages of do-follow Plugin for WordPress“. At the beginning of the April, I have my first PR update. This site went PR0 to PR1 and another music video site of mine got went PR0 to PR2, they are relatively very young sites, both not older than 6 months. However, I have done link building carefully and slowly. So, in a couple of months, I am sure I will have something else to write about this again.
Bottom line, don’t worry about giving do-follow enabled comments, because many sites are now exclusively collecting do-follow sites just for link building purpose.
So, my conclusion, I am stoked about getting my PR raised, but does it really matter? Not really. But this is a good example of doing things accordingly. So, check out my Massive Traffic and AtoZ SEO categories for more techniques and tips about getting good clean organic and natural traffic. My link building system is slow, because I am personally experimenting it, you get to do it faster because I have documented it every time I experience new techniques.
Comments and suggestions welcome.

I was helping out a member on Digital Point forum and I got this idea, why not just blog it since it became a little bit too long.
I am working in IT field with software/hardware integrations, so I know information has a huge value in IT world. This time, I will share how to decide whether you have a good web hosting or not.
I do not want to be stereo-type person to comment, but if it is a good web hosting, following things are generally good reliable hosting you can consider as;
1. They have live support, so before you sign up, you talk to live support and see how knowledgeable they are. Live support is not easy for the provider because you need constant availability and most of the live support people are of course good and knowledgeable. At least, they must answers your questions in a professional way.
2. Google for coupons, for example, if your webhosting name is “supercool”, google “supercool hosting coupons”, good hosting always have coupons for new sign ups.. small ones? very unlikely.
3. Always use 1 month money back guarantee opportunity, if u face unhappy performance or service, always get the money back within 3 weeks.. Never wait until 1 month. Make sure you sign up to the hosting that offer 1 month money back.
4. Check whether they give you minimum 1 free domain name when you sign up, reliable hosting usually have affiliation with domain registrar and they would give you ONE free when you sign up.
5. Always use the word once you decide to sign up, “I am currently a customer of xyz hosting and want to move“, and most hosting would even help you with data migration and maybe also give you further discount.
6. Always look for forums from hosting company, good ones usually install vbulletin (costs 150 bucks for license), if you don’t see vbulletin forum from hosting company, it isprobably, they might be gone in a while.. and remember, if you are member in forum, it’s very good that you can get lengthy questions answered, also, you can have your signature indexed at your hosting forum. Most importantly, hang out 1 week and ask any questions you want before you sign up and look at the response time, normally, if they help you in 12 hours, it is considered good.
7. check the PR of hosting company, sometimes, they do pretty good SEO work and partnership programs, that means they value their hosting address and they want to keep it that way, consequently meaning stability of the company.
Well, there you go.. life is a research, so use your research to get it all better in each and everyway of your life. One hour/One week research will save you one year of trouble.
