Have you ever tried Google Adwords keyword tool? If you haven’t, It is definitely the time you should have. I have been using it for a while and It has actually favored me a lot of kindness. And yes, It is also a money making site that is real and FREE. In order to make money online, everyone knows traffic is the most important thing, that is why we do blogging, writing and composing something that’s useful or beautiful. With unique content and search engine friendly SEO methods, the traffic is smooth and flowing.

However, sometimes you do have heaps of traffic and do not make enough conversation on affiliates, PPC and impressions. Because It is evident that your traffic flow is not enough to make you more money. Google keyword tool is one of the big differences to those who make money on a daily basis and those who are not. And you may probably not see everyday in millionaire blogs’ about this because half of them they sent are their affiliate links and more bait traffic.

Google Keyword Tool

Always try to search the keywords within your niche, choose all countries & make sure all keywords idea is clicked. Try to optimize your blog post or web page with similar keywords, meta description, tags and most importantly page title. However, It is important that you include them at optimal keyword density level in CONTENT (normally about 7%). Of course, relevancy and human readable is extremely important as well.

This is the secret people are making money and once you test it, you will know the difference as well. Make sure you have quality content website before you do this keyword optimization and never go out of your niche just to get the traffic. There are always good keywords that are paying good or earning good, which is totally different. Many people end up earning not much because they focus on paying good with no determination and passion. Some people do what they love and constantly improving their websites and blogs, so that quality brings money as well. I have seen many people tend to click my ads because

Ads are appealing with my posts

Ads are relevant to my posts

My content is useful to the readers

I do not sell a thing on my blog

I do not take high traffic from the readers &

I do not implement black hat or grey hat SEO

Since I started my AdSense account, I was neither banned or penalized. And my average Page CTR is ranged 2.7% to 3.4% each payment period. For me, It is fantastic achievement and I am happy with the pay because I actually do 3 niches. Some niches are low paying niches, but the CTR rate is absolutely amazing. So, try and take advantage with Google Adwords Keyword Tool and make sure you focus on your quality of your content and properly optimize on-site SEO and off-site SEO. And experience yourself after a week or two you publish on the web, and see the differences with previous content.

Happy Making Money.

Another overloading time for Twitter today, My time 29th April, 2010 at 10:09:42 am.

I am pretty upset with twitter lately as I don’t want to use external APIs to connect. It is because there are too many APIs connecting and looks like the site has been overloaded frequently. With the massive amount of messages flying around the net, especially evening time for US will be pretty much a lot of traffic and load balancing machines at Twitter can probably do nothing about it.

At the other hand, it’s fantastic massive traffic flowing in and out of Twitter and I think twitter can actually give you pretty much of SEO advantage over time, because the indexing method with Twitter is not so bad even though first generated TWEET is not necessarily creating massive traffic. So yea, SEO/SEM wise, it’s a great approach, and it is well-used by many others now.

Anyway, another disappointing experience with Twitter this week, AGAIN and I hope they will improve their accessibility soon.

Yes, That is right. If you are reading my blog post, that means you want to find Tweeple that will always follow you back. I have been using Twitter for a while and I plan to offer something for my readers by collecting the list of Twitter followers who will actually follow you back. But there is always one trick, you are really supposed to follow them as well.

Twitter is basically a micro-blogging tool that you can have 140 characters to type in and let others share with your thoughts, status, being and news. So, make sure you always follow them while they are willing to follow you back, I don’t want to bore you with long list, because I actually maintain the list who would actually follow you back in return.

So, go get the list http://twitter.com/NandaLinnAung/followers

You won’t be disappointed with the outcome. Especially you are a newbie to Twitter. Enjoy and Leave a comment below with your Twitter account, so that more people can be able to follow you.

Want to get Twitter followers efficiently? These are some of the facts you actually do not be able to find. Because I do experience myself in order to share my knowledge to you. Not to take some points from other people’s work. And yes, I do things slowly, but do it right to make the best out of it.

But you will not definitely find my post short cut or gain 20,000 followers within a week, but you will have steady increase number of followers, let’s say 50-100 members of followers a day if you build a good relationship with your followers.

Things you can’t easily find out on Google search about Twitter?

You can see thousands of blog articles written online, but when you hit 2000 following, not followers, you are stuck.. Why? because twitter put limits on following at 2000, unless your followers are properly ratioed. I am shocked to learn that internet gurus hardly talk about twitter limit. It’s probably one of the most important things you need to know about Twitter, read more here about twitter follow limit.

Twitter marketing?

Twitter is probably one of the hottest tool for internet marketing people. I do little bit of marketing for my websites, but never spam on your status. The point is you have 140 characters to do marketing on your status, the more follower, the better chance that they will see your status quite intriguing and click your URL (your URL can be shorten, meaning, no matter how long your blog post or URL is, it will actually be reduced to 18-20 characters). Moreover, you can actually hide if you are posting affiliate links, so that drives you more possible sales conversion as well. So, be wise for your 140 characters and make use of best possible punch line.

Twitter following and followers?

You will probably see have 15,000 followers in 3 weeks or I make 20k followers in 1 month thing around. My suggestion is not to spend a dime and get consistent and real followers for you. Remember, more than 50% of twitter members follow to get followers consequently can broadcast our status to the followers. It is neither geo-targeted nor niche-targeted. But always keep in mind, people want to build up relationships in Twitter, simple build up your relationship with your followers and following members.

My Motto @ Twitter

Follow me, follow you attitude. I always try to follow anyone who followed me. This is the right way to build up relationship with your followers. Of course, some people cannot follow you back right away because they probably reach twitter limits and stuck with following limits. Some people may not actually follow you permanently too. But that’s okay, you win some, you lose some. But once you build a good relationship to anyone, it does not matter, you will slowly build your Twitter network stronger than ever. Take a look at my follower at Twitter, you will see my total followers. If you want effectively gain twitter follower fast, just follow the people who followed me, because they actually followed me right away and they keep their following permanently. Check out my followers.

Here comes the most important thing, you would want to build your list slowly, so that you will not be stuck with twitter limits. So, make sure you follow like 100 members a day. Next day, you keep your following. Even you have 1000 following limits, you can actually get stuck if your following and follower ratio is not propotionate. So, follow properly, but not aggresively. While following maintain good relationship and RT other tweets, so that people will actually get to know you.

I made a lot of friends in Twitter, I barely know, But If someone Tweet such as “Share me some of your SEO tools”, and I just gave back RT (re-tweet) or DM (direct message).. In a couple of hours, i will get “thanks for the tools”, etc etc.

Nevermind about too many interests?

No, people don’t mind, they want what they want to. Sometimes, I tweet about myself. Once I tweet, This is so boring day, I will definitely get back “same here”, “rainy day and sleepy”, in a couple of minutes. Sometimes, direct to my Twitter login. That’s how you create your relationship, Now, I even search blogs on Twitter rather than Google, because you get more filtered as people would share or announce some good articles. When you focus on marketing alone, I don’t think it gives you real joy of using twitter. I gained heaps of friends in Basketball tweets, but never disappointed in my SEO/SEM discussions too.

Requirements for Twitter Members?

No, I am just being cheesy with the subtopics. There’s no requirement needed, but always treat other people with respect and have fun. Don’t just login to share your blog post with alot of URLs. Because many people check out your profile before they add you and when they see very few updates, they know they cannot do any interactive relationship with you and perhaps will not add you in their list. And some people get annoyed by constantly advertising your URL every single update of yours. So, be involved in community while doing your marketing at the same time.

So, Good luck and hope you get good Twitter campaign for your marketing, social networking, jobs, searches or even fun stuff to read.

Many MMO and SEO guys talk about PR every now and then, Recently, new PR from Google has been updated. Does it do any good for you or bad? For me, I never care about PR much because it’s just a measurement of Google. I understand higher PR, we can sell links and etc, but I care more about unique and repeated traffic which will eventually bring success to you in the long run.

The funny thing is Google has been kind to me. I use do-follow enabled plugin which is actually a good one for WordPress bloggers, many actually said that once you have do-follow, you actually got hurt in PR, however, I believe that comment URLs are actually artificial link building and so that it doesn’t really matter about back links, maybe you generate some more traffic.

pagerank

I allowed do-follow commenting on 25th Feb 2009 with this entry named “Advantages of do-follow Plugin for WordPress“. At the beginning of the April, I have my first PR update. This site went PR0 to PR1 and another music video site of mine got went PR0 to PR2, they are relatively very young sites, both not older than 6 months. However, I have done link building carefully and slowly. So, in a couple of months, I am sure I will have something else to write about this again. Bottom line, don’t worry about giving do-follow enabled comments, because many sites are now exclusively collecting do-follow sites just for link building purpose.

So, my conclusion, I am stoked about getting my PR raised, but does it really matter? Not really. But this is a good example of doing things accordingly. So, check out my Massive Traffic and AtoZ SEO categories for more techniques and tips about getting good clean organic and natural traffic. My link building system is slow, because I am personally experimenting it, you get to do it faster because I have documented it every time I experience new techniques.

Comments and suggestions welcome. If you like my posts, you can either subscribe via email or feed/RSS reader.

Many people got so anxious about their SEO works, that is no one to blame, we always wanted to see better and higher results. That’s the probably the only reason why you are actually reading this blog too. SEO is not a overnight work and if you rush it, you could crash it.

Speaking of link structures, you need to know two important things. They are

Natural Link &

Artificial Link Structure

Easily, Natural links must look naturally linked to each another whereas Artificial link structure will definitely look like we plan and create it. Natural links are actually valid and even when search engine variables and algorithms change, they might still be valid. Because once there is a new PR update, many people actually dropped their ranking as well as SERPs, and they will complaint rather than looking back what they have done in the past. It is generally because they did not build Natural Links in the past.

So, what are the differences between Natural Link and Artificial Link?

Natural link tends not to be reciprocal whereas artificial links are.

Natural link grows in number gradually whereas artificial link grows suddenly.

Natural link anchor text varies whereas artificial link anchor text still the same.

Therefore, avoid your links to become artificial link structure, because they are easy to be discounted in search engine world. Also, do not exchange links in web ring and link farms. In short, the link that are ranked high in PR or SERPs are the links that are not orchestrated to be seen, favors the links that are useful, great content and informative to be found. You may as well have known that buying links and selling links to earn votes is not allowed in most search engines.

In conclusion, the most important thing about link structure is when building your link, all the search engine cherish your natural link structure and they actually dislike/discount your artificial link structure.

Understanding of SERPs VS PR is a common misconception about link building. That is not an issue anymore once you read this. Well, many people think having huge amount of backlinks will give you top results in SERPs (search engine result pages). It is a myth.

Google considers many factors for your website/blog ranking in search results, it is fair to say that PR players indirect role in SERPs, but higher PR doesn’t mean higher SERPs at all. Sometimes in search result pages in Google, you may probably see PR1 sites results showed up higher than PR4 sites. Try some keywords about it, You will definitely learn that PR is not as useful as you believe to be. Of course, higher PR will give you potential impression, but not complete monetization result for you. That’s why SEO experts work for SERPs whereas SEO beginners work for PR. The mystery of SERPs is nobody exactly knows every single detail search engine algorithms and their technologies since they are using million of terms and variables. Here are some of the facts you can actually learn about getting higher in SERPs.

keywords optimizations and relevancy (avoid keyword spamming and get to the point, for example, if you are selling shoes and you put completely spammy words such as free download, even you have a brochure PDF file to give away free, the relevancy % is highly unlikely to match to your entire site, Remember, it’s called “KEYWORD”, the word that is key to you)

anchor text of the links (what you explained and the URL)

previous factors of your site history (To name a few… the age of the websites, the content of the websites, how frequently you update, how good your internal linking is, how quickly a particular page is linked or indexed..etc)

quantity of links from other sites to certain searched keywords

quality of links from other sites to certain searched keywords

human ranking (just introduced a couple of months ago where people can rank their search results, let’s say if you found what your looking for in page 2 of SERP, you can actually move up to page 1 yourself).

Lately, I do not actually have any internal linking because I do not want my readers to click on each URL like a wild goose chase (clicking another URL before finishing this and that). However, below you can see the related posts, so that you can read more about what is relevant with this post (I deliberatelly assign certain keywords to relevant posts so that you can actually keep reading for more).

Now, we need to consider what is the link popularity for your website(s). It’s imperative to know what are these, so that you will not get confused and the meaning do not become misconceptions.

Link popularity is basically the links pointing to your webpage/websites/domains. So, it is basically called backlinks (the links you received back). For example, I would recommend CNN.com on my website and when search engine bots/spiders crawl my page, they will also note that CNN.com will get one more backlinks from my site, confirming I trust this particular URL to be linked with. Link popularity also determines Page Rank for Google as well.

Like in mid 90s search engine world, it was pretty simple, the total backlinks will give you basically higher search results, but nowadays, all big three (Google, Yahoo!, MSN Live) are well-aware and well-constructed conditions and variables to determine the link popularity in proper manners so that people who take advantages of buying links and submitting to directories compared to those who did not will be adjusted.

Speaking of Link Popularity, you need to think about your link relevancy, because spiders will also calculate the relevancy of your website and the backlinks to certain level, for example, In this website, I talk about SEO, wordpress, search engines, blogging. Therefore, if I link to websites about SEO, wordpress, etc, those people who received backlinks from my website will get better Page Rank as well as high relevancy. (which is why I allow do-follow commenting on my site, which is massive advantages to those who leave comments on my site especially in same topics/niches.)

Nowadays, search engines do not rely on link popularity alone, however still play a huge role. So, if you have higher link popularity, you have to build quality backlinks which is what many people are seriously building for Google PR. The easiest way to build is to make people known about your website and do not worry so much about search engines’ spiders. Like I have mentioned before, you need to build for massive traffic and let search engine love you.

Link Building is not a new topic at all. In fact, this is as old as first we all started using Internet. Link building is one of the most basic factors in Internet. Okay, over a decade has passed and everyone still talks about the same thing to drive your traffic, It still is all about Link Building.

What is Link Building?

The most repeated function in Internet world is “searching”. We all search one way or another.

Recently, I have installed do-follow enabled comment plugin on my sites and It works like a charm. As you may all have known wordpress and most of the blogs have disabled in default, however, if you can control your spam, there’s actually better way you can take control of do-follow links.

So, i installed this fantastic do-follow plugin for my wordpress and I have actually received more comments than before just in a few couple of days. That is awesome, isn’t it?

do-follow

What are the advantages of do-follow?

Of course, there are bunch of advantages for do-follow sites, I will summarize for both myself and the rest of my visitors.

1. Default settings are always on a safe side. Once you enabled do-follow link there’s imminent threat of spamming. LOL, all you need to have a a couple of top rated spam filters such as Akismet and so on. On the bright side, it’s massive traffic. There’s always an opportunity cost for higher traffic, that comes with higher spams.

2. Repeating comments, there are two ways to follow up repeating comments, one to reply each visitor comment, and another one from visitor’s reply. Confused? Bottom line, your blog post may earn more than 2 comments from each entry because many people will comment you genuinely, on the other hand, if your visitors are clever enough, they make sure they write more than 1 comment at your blog, or reply to the same comment so that the search engine bots will read them more than once.

3. Don’t worry about PR/Alexa, they are alternative ways to benchmark your site, especially I don’t believe in Alexa ranking. I would trade more traffic than getting better PR/Alexa ranking. That’s the truth. Do-follow blogs are actually giving legit backlinks to your commentors, but don’t worry, you get heaps of traffic and your ranking will grow because It just does it.

4. Encouraging your readers to comment is best thing for bloggers. You allow backlinks, you encourage your readers that you are giving something back , rather than expecting something, that builds a great relationship to your readers as well.

5. By sharing about do-follow to those who do not know, you take control of knowledge that your visitors/readers do not know yet. It is a good opportunity your readers are bloggers and this will also help them to get backlinks which bloggers indeed love. The more you can help a hand, the smarter you sound, don’t you?

6. Since I have carefully built my site around big search engines such as Google, Yahoo! and MSN , ask.com , etc etc. I have very confident that every single page of mine is properly pinged and quickly indexed. Make sure you use sitemap xml and site verifications with Google, Yahoo! and MSN to get faster search engine updates. Easy Breezy method for organic search.

7. It creates a larger community. Why? Because you have no-follow blog before, now you enabled do-follow site, that’s where you have massive members and visitors to make a geniune comments and in return they get backlinks for their PR or more traffic, it’s a win-win situation and you also get to know your readers. Spam filters will actually differentiate your readers and just those people who want backlinks and etc.

8. The quality backlinks are important and half the time, many people do not understand what they mean. It depends on the place where you put your comments as well as your niche. If you are car-sales category and make a comment on this infomm.com website, you are not getting quality backlinks, that’s for 100% sure. Maybe, a legit backlinks. You need to find similar niche for your site, so that you leave comment accordingly.

9. Okay, #9 is NONE , just start doing what I have mentioned above. You will see the difference. Now, start getting quality backlinks by leaving comment on this post.

Thanks for reading

Previously, I have posted about viral marketing for online advertising. Now, I want to share a little bit further more about viral marketing and why should we use it in order to drive massive traffic to our websites.

So, cut to the chase, WHY do we use viral marketing techniques?

quick to drive traffic (once it’s starting to spread, there’s basically no limit, the message will pick up the speed faster and to the bigger audience)

cost effective (once again, no limit, easy to start and cheap to expect the traffic, make sure your site has some to offer for your visitors to become regular)

niche gathering (you will eventually find where your niche is headed and your target audience in no time as long as you offer unique content that are original, photographer offers photoblog whereas geek-blog offers all technology news)

Bottom Line, traffic means money, relevant niche means more money, cost effective mean more money. So, what else shall I say?

viral marketing

So, this comes the question, WHAT are the techniques?

I am going to repeat this again, provide quality content, products or services. (provide something which is unique for your visitors)

Give something away (I would recommend gmail service to my friends because they basically gave away free service for e-mail, don’t they? you gotta offer something so that will create buzz).

Recommendation or referral on your site. (something like share this post, email to a friend, etc etc, that will create more buzz because I would really recommend to my friend if a particular website offer something nice)

Have some video clips, or free e-book to give away or have a personal blog about your interest on the site (that will also give some kind of expose to your visitors and yes it does really attract traffic)

Social bookmarking icons and links (They are basically helping you to bookmark or submit to the sites, either way, they are good for traffic, easy for search engine to index, my personal favorites regarding SEO are reddit, technorati and digg)

Use RSS feed or any sort of Feed (Some of my audience like RSS feed because they are firefox fans, some of them love email feed as well, so feedburner or similar service sites can offer, I use feedburner of course, you can set up either RSS feed or email subscription)

Do what others do not generally offer (It’s very simple but sometimes it is easily overlooked in many cases, for example, I enabled “do-follow” plugin in my wordpress, which default is “no-follow” for commenters, so I would get more visitors who will want to have do-follow link on my site and will write more comments as well.

Run on-site competitions (Many internet gurus are still using this method, and that’s how they get massive traffic and regular visitors)

Build a community and relationship with your visitors (Communication is the key to success, if you interact with your visitors, you will build the better relationship between you and your visitors that is very good for long term)

Ok, There are main 9 methods I have tested and experimented in the past and they have created impressive traffic for me.

So, start right now because what I have suggested will cost next to nothing. You can basically start with no-investment methods such as adding referal scripts, RSS setup, email subscriptions and some fabulous content first.

Thanks for reading. Now, I will go back to build my viral marketing for another site
