19 Nov 09 Twitter Trends for Today 19 November 2009

I am now thinking about little bit of documenting about twitter trends…  Because its fun to see how the trend is moving around the net.

So, today’s search and trending topics are currently

• New MoonNew Moon, the next Twilight movie, will be out in theaters Nov. 20. Fans can’t wait.
• Thierry HenryWorld Cup soccer fans are upset about what many consider a blatant handball violation which led to a French goal and eventual win against Ireland in a qualifying match today (Nov. 18).
• #IReallyLoveTILA
• #FunnyButNOTCOOL
• #svuk
• #openwebawards@mashable’s 3rd Annual Open Web Awards, Social Media Edition. Voting on the 5 top nominations in each category takes place Nov. 18 – Dec. 13. Winners to be announced Dec. 15.
• IrelandIreland lost to France 1-2 in a World Cup qualifying soccer match (Nov. 18).
• ThanksgivingIn the United States, people give thanks on the fourth Thursday in November (in 2009, the 26th). People are tweeting their holiday plans, which traditionally include turkey.

It’s actually interesting to see twitter has now global player as you can actually see search such as Thierry Henry is now dominating Twitter as football/soccer is pretty much not the hot topic but the total volume of twitter users are no longer dependent on US population, which is pretty good news for Twitter.
