Bookmarking sites are extremely popular nowadays. Yes, they sure are. Every blogger talks about social bookmarking sites. So, why shouldn’t you? 

Many surfers/blog readers have several bookmarking sites login such as de.li.cio.us, digg.com, blinklist.com, etc etc. The list goes on and on.

So, when someone likes your site and wants to bookmark yours, it’s very important that you have the necessary tools for readers to facilitate to enable them to bookmark your particular article. My guess is, if you are truly writing an original article for yourself, Like me, I don’t see any reason why your article would not be bookmarked. 

For wordpress, the plug-in name “sociable” is fantastic to assist you with very easy installation steps.

You can download the “sociable wordpress plug-in here“. The installation is pretty easy. So, I will just quote from the original installation instruction because I think it is explained best.

Download, Upgrading, Installation:

Upgrade

1. First deactivate Sociable
2. Remove the sociable directory

Install

1. Unzip the sociable.zip file.
2. Upload the the sociable folder (not just the files in it!) to your wp-contents/plugins folder. If you’re using FTP, use ‘binary’ mode.

Activate

1. In your WordPress administration, go to the Plugins page
2. Activate the Sociable plugin and a subpage for Sociable will appear in your Options menu.
