Normally, we use PDF because they act like a photographic memory of a document and very much portable. From security point of view, they are secure, compact and do not execute anything. Above all, it can be viewed freely and fast. So, as far as I am against with Steve Jobs, I think Adobe is going onto right direction.

My professional involves giving support and I just wanted to share with you some of the adobe services.

Anyway, if you want to convert PDF files into text files or html files. Here are quick ways to do so, this is actually for those who mainly use email to transport files and documents.

* For conversion to plain text, e- mail the PDF file to pdf2txt@adobe.com
* For conversion to HTML, e-mail the file to pdf2html@adobe.com

All you need to do is, just simply attach the file and send to the email address above, if your conversion is successful, it will return with successful file and replied mail. It’s just as easy as chips.

For those who obtain files via Web Browsers, I think this would be more suitable method. Just go to

Online conversion tools for Adobe PDF documents

It is actually an online conversion tools that are already available on the Internet.

And another product I wanted to introduce after I tested several free PDF creators and readers, I finally have my say to all those free PDF creators/writers version. And I finally pick

Nitro PDF for reader and writer module. It is compact, about 22.6MB only, yet it has several great stuff that can simply match Adobe Acrobat Professional in many ways. Of course, you can’t beat Adobe Acrobat Professional, but isn’t it fantastic when you spend nothing and can use almost as same as Adobe product. So, basically you can do everything about PDF with these applications and email address, because it’s really working out well with me.

Thanks for reading.

Last night, I was awake many hours of the night because I was installing Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic. It is absolutely beautiful OS with lots of easy administration. If you upgrade from 9.04 version, you will probably need 1-2 hours download and upgrade time to complete, but it is not much changed from 9.04 version. By the way, 9.10 was released on 29th October 2009.

So, if any of you are Ubuntu fan, it’s time to download or upgrade.

As nowadays, everyone seems to be have one netbook for each person, and you won’t feel left out, because you can also download ATOM version of ubuntu that is Ubuntu netbook remix and Ubuntu has optimized for your netbooks as well.

The software package manager is better than ever. Firefox Mozilla starts with 3.5 version. Overall, it’s really worth using it. I am on the verge of leaving Windows if possible. Of course, most of the working environments, It is very hard not to use Ubuntu, however, upgrade and security point of view, I think Linux aces on top of everything.

So, have you tried Ubuntu yet?

Nokia’s first Linux Phone’s reviews are pretty much great. All I have to say is, IT IS AWESOME. Yes, it is of course, N series, N900.

For Nokia fans, This is probably one of the best phones Nokia can offer.

32GB Internal Memory, 5MP Carl Zeiss Camera, Fantastic applications, great user interface, multitasking and you name it. Very nice looking unsophisticated slide-sider QWERT keyboard and Responsive 800×480 pixel resistive screen actually are big selling points for them.

So, u can install on your windows computer, and virtual box will run as a mini-computing system. If u r very new to linux.. there are many ways you can get to know them.. First learning in Distrowatch.com and what are the core ingridients in each distribution.. I like Fedora 10 or 11 the best to learn new things, because they have apache, httpd, ftp, database, many scripting, also security and networking setup, I quite like it…

Let’s say, u want dual-boot with computer, not using virtual machine, try ubuntu 9.04, ubuntu is the best linux to install.. they have two version, desktop and server version, u can choose whatever version u want to master it.

Generally learning for Linux, for starter.. you can read through this website to get to know bit by bit.

Free trainings are starting from Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced Level. Moreover, you will be able to learn some useful tips and tricks of Linux operating system and its functions. Once you complete the course, it is time to choose a particular distribution and start mastering the Linux one by one. My person choices will be Fedora 11 or Ubuntu 9.04 as of today.. These versions will change time after time as they will release more or less every 6 months to 12 months as a new version.

Thanks for reading.

In webmaster forums, Google groups and many places, I have seen there are many people who love to try out Linux or get to know a little bit better. And they all start with one question.

“Which linux should I use?”

It is a good question before you actually start using it. For me, it is all about Linux, meaning, it is all about freedom to choose. So, you need to ask yourself which are your criteria rather than what criteria you are supposed to use.

I will raise a few questions to get yourself initiated with questions.

What type of package management would I like to use?

What sort of packages you are after?

What kind of distributions you may be interested?

From there, you can go deeper questions in each topic.. for example, In RPM package management, which one would suit me better? Redhat, Fedora or CentOS. or Which package management is easier to update.

It is all about your preferences and do not stress about it.. And the best way to start about getting to know Linux is nowhere other than Linux DistroWatch.com.

I love to use Linux for my learning experiences, I am not going to say I am anti-microsoft as I have to use Microsoft in many aspects too.

The other day I have came across one article why people give up Linux. It’s sad but true. Many people love to use it whereas some people are just not happy enough with Linux distributions. The fact is, it’s totally free and you actually have alot of possibilities to use Linux.

This article is written by Keir Thomas who is a fantastic writer for Linux especially Ubuntu distro. The article name is Top 7 reasons people quit Linux and it’s awesome to read.

Many people jump on Linux bandwagon and sometimes they got lost in a way as they never approach slowly and correctly. For me, that is the main reason why people quit using Linux. Moreover, people are too much used to Windows and they compare everything. For me, it is crazy because you cannot compare two different things. Believe it or not, Linux applications are

For example, can you question why Apple has no right click button and still selling as the most expensive computer? Same thing applies to Linux vs Windows. You cannot compare two different things. What majority of people do not understand is stability and not required to use massive processing power in Linux compared to Windows.

For me, Windows is good to use with everything, but never ace in any area. I remember when I rendered one video file in Windows took 12 hours, but Only took about 40 minutes in iMac OSX on same Adobe Premier version. I could still install good KDE or GNOME desktop on my 10 years old Pentium III computer without any issues but now my Centrino 1.66ghz lappy has been noticeably slow on Windows SP3. Linux excels in web-based applications and web-server applications as well. All my webhosting are on either Cent OS or Slackware Linux distributions.

You may be amazed to know Linux has all the applications that Windows can offer. Check the list for Linux software equivalent to Windows software. Truly, the interface and some functions may be a little different, but the basic requirements can be fulfiled by using Linux. And drivers and installation issues are not easier than ever unless you are using the computer that is released yesterday.

Well, that’s my 2 cents about Linux and why people quit after a while. So, have you ever used Linux before and what are your experiences about it?
