Simply, if you niche has lower competition, you will be easily targeted, you can convert your traffic into money easier if interested visitors can find you easier. Thus SEO (Search Engine Optimization) becomes one of the most important factors.
Moreover, always deliver the tasty and theme content to your visitors. For example, if you are talking about “basketball”, make sure you always include in topics and keywords that are strong for your niche such as “LeBron James, FIBA, NBA, World Championship, Michael Jordan, and Chicago Bulls” according to the relevancy. That will not only help you indexing in search engine effectively, but also let you own more keywords as you have more contents in a particular niche. Search Engines are clever and sophisticated. Let’s say the Big 3, they are pretty smart and powerful. Search engines are written by a bunch of super geeks and they have several techniques to index your site, not only the text based display.
I have recently written an article about Google’s technology. As soon as opportunity arises, I will also discuss about alexa, msn live and yahoo in the future.
There are millions of web pages that will not show up in the search engines, because they are being discounted from search engines especially Google search. WHY????? Because they are not having unique contents in the web. Some people like to copy and paste the materials around the world and it will finally come to haunt them in the future because search engines determine which websites are displaying duplicate contents, there are no sense of worry about who started it, but definitely if your website is always publishing original contents, that means you will not be in the same category as “duplicate contents/news feeders” list.
